I thought I should include an entry to indicate that most of the stuff in my journal is friends-locked and explain a little bit about that. Fic and some fannish stuff is the exception. A couple thoughts on why you may or may not want to friend me:

Writing fanfic
Irony and sarcasm
Laughing at idiocy
Intelligent, respectful debate
Learning about anything and everything I'll never have the opportunity to experience myself
Profanity

Things I hate:
Actual embodied evil from below the lowest rung of hell, Donald Trump
Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and everyone like them. No, seriously. If you fangirl Ann Coulter, we are probably not a good LJ matchup.
The NRA
Republicans who want to sink Obama's legislation just to watch him fail
Intolerance
Nationalism
Fundamentalism
Materialism

I may edit this as I think of others. If you want to friend me, comment on this entry and it's likely that I'll friend you back. I do like to know something about the people on my friends list, so give me a hint as to what you think we have in common:)

I'm so laughing that you hate Rush, and that you planned to marry Chris Meloni. You and several other people on my f-list! lol.

I am definitely not over Renee's death, and I'm starting to think think perhaps I don't plan to get over it. Ugh! But thank you so much for what you said about the fics! They started out as a way for me to channel all that psychotic mental energy, and now I guess they're a form of bizarre therapy. I'll be interested to see if anybody keeps reading 24fiction at all now that the show is officially over and the movie is a ways off.

I hope you manage to get some fanfic written, whether on your own or with your friends!
