Augh, it's your favorite chapter! Which makes your comments and my ensuing I'm not worthy!!! I'm not worthy!!! even moar epic. But. I shall try. Oh but wait! I can surprise you with one thing. I actually liked "the magic half an hour when they’d both been stupid enough to believe they could run" part. For some reason. IDEK. That just popped out on the first draft and I never changed it.

FOOD SHARING. You know what? I bet if you go through every single one of my fics, there is like, maybe one that does not involve food sharing. Maybe. It's such a ludicrous kink of mine and I can't stop myself from sticking it in because I mean, it's so natural. People do it! So there you go. They're always eating each other's food. I think they would!

Aw, the contacts scene. I was super nervous about that because I didn't know if it was coming off as cheesy or silly and I really wanted it to be at least decent, because I given the way these two stare at each other all the time, it seems to me that it would mean a whole lot to Jack to be able to see her real eyes again, especially when he thought he'd never see them again at all.

PANTS OPTIONAL. That's exactly what she was being. I would be pants optional with Jack also. Just sayin'.

Yikes, the part that you're quoting at the end. God I was so freaked out about this entire thing. I'm sure you remember how I flailed about writing and flailed and flailed and flailed because I wanted to write them together, but then when it came time to do so I was all OMG THIS IS PARALYTICALLY INHIBITORY. Because it was. I'm delighted that it turned out to be a recipe for your flail, because augh, I was so like, what if I do it wrong?

Mmmkay. Muah! Part deux.
