However, our recent conversation caused me to realize something.

So I saw Annie's ep of Hawaii 5-0 and was seriously underwhelmed. IDK if it was the wardrobe or lighting or makeup, but Annie...didn't look that great. Not Start of Day 8 unshampoo'd terrible but just not great. Or at least as not great as someone that naturally gorgeous is capable of looking.

I'm so shallow! I just hope Annie finds a good role for herself soon. Which may or may not include Zombie Renee. She can join Zombie Larry and Zombie Bill for CTU: Zombie Division.

Speaking of Bill, I'm working on my third Bill Fic and I made myself cry! Whoa. Brag much?

Well, I too was underwhelmed by pretty much everything about Hawaii 5-0 except Annie and the one dark-haired dude's very nice muscles. I can't say I really noticed anything about how she looked though. She had nice jeans. She was playing a suburban aunt, so to have her all fancy would have struck me as odd.

LOL, can't say that I brag about writing. Generally I'm incapable of reading my own stuff without instant cringe. But I guess it must be cool to be able to make yourself cry, right? It's like you don't even need other people to write you fic -- you can just do it yourself!

Yeah, I think it's a pretty low-budget show. Being addicted to stuff like XF, 24, and BSG has certainly gotten me used to a certain level of quality. Justified looks gorgeous though. I'm so interested to see what you think of it when you watch!

Man, it's no wonder people get frustrated and drift away. With a show that gives you that many cliffhangers, you would think they'd put the new eps closer together, even if it meant a later premiere date. IDK.

On the good side...they probably planned to have an epic cliffhanger for the pre-hiatus finale, so instead we'll only have to wait a week after Ep 8 to see how it pans out.

New low for the ratings despite being an excellent and heartbreaking episode. This is prob. last season...oh well, there's always fic if I can ever figure out the sort of big, epic AU I want to write.

I've only seen a few eps, but I know that a ton of people whose opinions I respect think it's an amazing show. I wish that the bulk of the populace were less into being spoon-fed terrifying reality shows and painfully predictable procedurals (wow, that alliteration was accidental).

Alas. If it is the last season, I'll just cross my fingers that the conclusion is better than what we got for 24!

I hope it's better than the 24 finale. Olivia does get shot and killed in the futureverse though. At least it wasn't immediately after having sex with Peter. Actually, the depiction of the S3 finale future verse is almost as bad as 24 S8 finale - Walter in prison again, Olivia dies, Peter is left alone at the end, universe is still falling apart. At least it's only a depiction of a possible outcome.

Technically if it was like 24, though, Peter would be the one killed off since Olivia's the main character. Then she'd be exiled to another universe, or something.

I miss her, too! She's doing a new pilot, but of course at this point there's no way to know whether 1) the show will get picked up and 2) whether it will totally suck or not. LOL. I think we should absofuckinglutely have 24: the Altverse on HBO. I would watch the ever-living hell out of that;)

LOLOLOLOLOLOL. Well you would know better than I, obviously. See how I'm disproving the thing in the 200 things video about always looking at your own face during video chat? I still get lost looking at it sometimes, because it's just so gorgeous. It also contributes to my problem where I want to watch that part of 8x17 all the time, but I have a weird mental thing about that and I'll only let myself do it every now and then. Like right now I haven't watched it for weeks.
