Pick a character or pairing from 24 (sorry to be so specific, but it's where my brain is right now), give me some a song lyric, and I will attempt at least 100 words of fic for you.

I know. I didn't write any of them last time. So I understand if you're all just like, PFT. However, my brain is in this mood where it just can't settle down, and I'd really like to find out if I'm capable of writing anything that doesn't turn into a thousand words minimum. I'm teaching all week, so I can mess with these at work, too:)

I think I'll cap it at 12 though, because even that's probably ambitious, given my recent success with prompts.

Well this is one of the few so far that managed to stay within comment length. I . . . fail at brevity in a way that is truly distressing.

God, so do *I*. Seriously it's embarrassing how much of that I would write if it were only up to me and I never thought I needed even a nominal plot. I could read them snuggling in bed until the end of time, because I'm a huge dork like that. I'm glad you enjoyed this -- it was so much fun to write:)

Okay, you are killing me with the complexity of commenting on these. What what what? No wonder it takes me so long. Yeesh. Comment in right place, at last (I hope):

I am trying to imagine Jack and Renee on a bus tour, and the lulz are amazing. Jack would be off-grid and ignoring protocols at the first stop. Their poor tour director. Write that, puh-lease? *makes kitty eyes*

I went on a Contiki tour of Europe when I was 19 and there was a vice cop from New Zealand on our bus. He had a minor freak out and got all herd dog on us during our visit to the red light district in Amsterdam. Jack would be like that only X eleventy billion.

Jack getting shit for totaling an SUV made me snorffle so hard. Oh, Jack.

Oh god I can't even believe how much I miss Larry. It's actually sort of ridiculous, given my hatred of him through a decent chunk of S7. And now . . . AUGH. I was watching part of 7x19 the other day and I almost keeled over when Renee went to see his body. Meh.

And holy frak you made me a wordle! I'm DYING that coffee is the biggest word. That is . . . poetry. The wordle. Not my fic. Just to be clear.

You're so evolved! I really kind of hated him in the beginning because he was such a big cockblocker to my ship. It's amusing (and so effing sad, now that we know everything) to go back and look at my post-ep reactions during S7. I can't remember when my Larry love finally kicked into gear for good, but it wasn't very long before he died. Woe!

Cinna only prompted me with this as a joke (because London is a big part of where my huge AU takes place), but I decided to do it anyway. I can't lie -- it was fun to just . . . not torment them for 500 words. Hee you want crack!fic with Jack and Renee on a bus tour? Why do I see it more as Jack dragging her to Africa or some shit and she's all, "Really? We couldn't have stayed at the Marriott?" LOL.
