Pick a character or pairing from 24 (sorry to be so specific, but it's where my brain is right now), give me some a song lyric, and I will attempt at least 100 words of fic for you.

I know. I didn't write any of them last time. So I understand if you're all just like, PFT. However, my brain is in this mood where it just can't settle down, and I'd really like to find out if I'm capable of writing anything that doesn't turn into a thousand words minimum. I'm teaching all week, so I can mess with these at work, too:)

I think I'll cap it at 12 though, because even that's probably ambitious, given my recent success with prompts.

More detailed feedback later tonight, but I just had to comment now to let you know how much I love this. Are you sure you aren't really the one who created Jack and Renee, and that the 24 writers/producers didn't just steal them from you and commit massive copyright violations? Because you just write them so beautifully and naturally and make it seem so effortless. ♥

If I owned them they'd probably never get dressed;) Then again, they'd have a lot more fun than the 'real' writers let them have, dammit!

I actually wasn’t even counting this as a real prompt when I posted it- I was just being obnoxious and trying to inspire you to write your London story. :P But I love everything about the things this fic chooses to be- thank you so much for writing it!!

I love the way this fic starts, with Jack getting home late and finding Renee asleep on the couch- Renee wearing one of Jack’s T-shirts makes me ridiculously happy. ^^ And Jack sitting down on the sofa and rubbing Renee’s arm, and her smiling as soon as she opened her eyes….ZOMG the adorableness, I can’t even.

She lets him pull her up and stops, kissing him just long enough to cascade heat down the back of his neck. adijfkhakjdgha HOT.

Jack pulling Renee up from the couch and navigating her into the bedroom was the cutest thing ever.

He tosses his jeans and t-shirt on the chair and lifts the covers, sliding across the bed to wrap his arm around her stomach. GAH I just…I have no words to describe how flaily and smushy this makes me.

Closing his eyes, he presses his face into her hair (soft and raspberry-scented) and sees the photograph of Big Ben, backlit by clouds and night sky. <3 <3 <3

THANK YOU. I'm really super happy that you liked this, because it's so fluffy and silly and all those things but dude. Writing them like this makes me so HAPPY. It's like gradually I'm making all these little pieces of an AU where things didn't suck, and I plan to let my brain live there for the rest of my life.

Also no worries on being silly with the prompt. I'm being SO careful not to steal anything that I need for the big AU. I'm actually sorta bummed, because there's an entire riff I have that would be perfect for paladin24's prompt, but I can't! LOL. Thanks, Cinna. Your comments are always the awesomest:)
