adrenalin211 made the astute observation that just as everyone knows the story of how the entire HP series got started with Rowling writing on a napkin in a restaurant, everyone will know the story of how this POS got started as Twatlight fanfic. However, no napkins were harmed in the making of Rowling's production. LE SIGH.

( I don't think you should use a spatula for that. )

In the spirit of keeping my brain alive while I try to work out this Christmas fic in my head (I kept the notebook by my bed last night. There are a few sentences in it!), I'm participating in Fic Friday on Twitter, started (for me anyway) by the lovely ladyoflorien.

Two things showing what a sheep I am:

1. I made a tumblr. I haven't the vaguest idea how to use it and probably wont, LOL.

2. I have discovered Instagram. You guys, it is so cool and nifty and I feel like such a sheep, because in theory I should show THE MAN by not using it, given that it's owned by Facebook.

Anyway. FRIDAY. And the sun might even be shining. Maybe. What nifty weekend plans does everyone have?

I blatantly stole this from slumber, because it's too awesome not to. I know this is two posts in one day, but stuff like this fascinates me in terms of psychology. As in, I wonder how differently I come across on LJ than I do in real life? I have friends here from both.

It's a rainy Monday and I have a billion boring domestic things to do, so I would love some thought distraction while I work on that. Thus, stolen from lowriseflare:

I'm still sorting through like five (and I only say five because I picked that number out of a hat) different plot tracks, but I do at least have the mood/theme/setting down in my brain, so that's something. I guess we'll see if I can actually pull it off with RL yanking on me from so many directions.

I realize that this isn't the kind of thing most of you do, but it's a hell of a lot of fun. I mean, there's a 10k option this year:) And if you don't want to do it but know a good place to pimp the community, go for it!

Gah, plane again tomorrow. Wow I hate flying. *breathes*
