Thanks for mentioning certain parts that resonated with you. I thought the eyes would be important, given how much the two of them do conversations with eye contact. I could just imagine him itching to see them again with no filters. I'm such a shippy dork!

GAH. So well said. I think this is why I never stood a chance in the face of this ship. It's what undoes me every time -- the way they are so entirely broken and yet somehow, they let each other in. *flails*
