I thought I should include an entry to indicate that most of the stuff in my journal is friends-locked and explain a little bit about that. Fic and some fannish stuff is the exception. A couple thoughts on why you may or may not want to friend me:

Writing fanfic
Irony and sarcasm
Laughing at idiocy
Intelligent, respectful debate
Learning about anything and everything I'll never have the opportunity to experience myself
Profanity

Things I hate:
Actual embodied evil from below the lowest rung of hell, Donald Trump
Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and everyone like them. No, seriously. If you fangirl Ann Coulter, we are probably not a good LJ matchup.
The NRA
Republicans who want to sink Obama's legislation just to watch him fail
Intolerance
Nationalism
Fundamentalism
Materialism

I may edit this as I think of others. If you want to friend me, comment on this entry and it's likely that I'll friend you back. I do like to know something about the people on my friends list, so give me a hint as to what you think we have in common:)

Oh trust me -- you should try writing! My writing is never as good as I want it to be, but I write anyway because I love fanfic too much. lol.

Twitter love! You guys are all so awesome, and it makes me so happy that you like the fics. Canon, why do you have to be so evil?

And yeah, pretty much icon *I* make is gonna be Jack, Renee, or Jack and Renee. I don't even wanna know how many I have from 8x17. hahahahaha. Oy.

LOL. Look it's my badass Renee icon! I could spend the rest of my life iconning stuff. It's so fun. And I'm not even DONE iconning 8x17. Trust me;)

Yeah the fic I'm working on right now is AU to the max, but when they killed Renee I was pretty much like, "You know what? Screw you! It's fiction anyway and I'll write it the way *I* want it to end." Sigh.

Also, I pretty much died when I read what you said about Chuck and Sarah. Sure they're cute and everything but I just . . . don't care that much! I love the show as a whole, but I'm with you like woah that three seasons of Chuck and Sarah have done for me 1/10 of what approximately 15 seconds of Jack and Renee do. I must have masochism issues:-P
