So I rewatched 24 7x01 last night. I had about 436782967893462896457289 feelings, most of which I won't bore anyone with. But it WAS so funny, after a long time of watching only bits and pieces of S8 (if anything), to see Renee all innocent and strutty, back before she knew she'd been repeatedly beat up and almost raped by a Russian freakshow;) It was so much fun that I got motivated to go and hunt up Kay's insanely amazing screencap recap.

And I laughed my ass off again:)

More tonight, hopefully. SHOW, WHY ARE YOU SO DAMN GOOD?

And then I realized that while I've asked you guys who watched 24 about your favorite season, I don't think I've ever asked about your favorite episode. And now I'm curious. If you had to pick one ep, which one would it be? Why?

Aw, S1 that I have never seen. I did see the first few minutes though, with the whole family setup and all those good things, and wow yeah, it's a long way from there to the end of S8, isn't it? And yet strangely back at the beginning with uh, no one. Heh. I'm sure that was crazytimes when it first started though, because 24 did a lot of things that are probably standard now on TV but certainly weren't then.

As for the rating, chyeah. The other day I went to pick S up from a playdate and his friends four-year-old little brother was watching The Mummy. Reminding me again that I have different standards than a lot of people. Yikes!

That scene with Jack and Kim. WAUGH. All the waugh. They make me sob every last time. You totally do have a secret agent kink though, don't you? I think that I do not particularly, although I love it when people reveal new qualities that we hadn't seen before.

Well there's honestly nothing in the caps in terms of violence, and I've told you before that I'm the flip side of most people on that one. The sex jokes N already gets anyway, so whatever. They're basically shipper recaps anyway, and N loves being "grownup" enough to pick up the jokes. It's also fun to see which pop culture references he gets. Because for example, he barely knows who Miley Cyrus IS.
