I decided that since icon making seems to be my hobby for the moment (when I'm too brain dead to write fic), I'd stick these up here on the off chance that anybody wants to steal them. I figure I'm at least safe in saying that I've created the most Jack/Renee icons of anyone ever. All of which is to say that these are ALL of Kiefer, Annie, Jack, and/or Renee. A substantial number are from 8x17. Haters to the left, dude.

Aw, I'm sorry you fell off the wagon if you really wanted to be there. I've kind of never tried to pretend that they don't own my soul. I figure that at some point that probably won't be true anymore, but until then I'm just gonna live with it.

I agree that Annie probably won't get any recognition for her amazing work this season, and that pisses me off even more. Ugh. I think even the lack of fanfic post S8 shows how pissed off a lot of viewers are. I mean there's just no hope left, so unless you head AU, there's nothing to write about. But Annie did everything she could with what she had, and I will always adore and miss Renee.

I'm glad you like the icons! I can't stop myself from making them. Soon I'm going to have one of every last frame of the making out scenes from 8x17. Totally gonna happen.

I think even the lack of fanfic post S8 shows how pissed off a lot of viewers are. I would contribute if I could – really, I swear – but as I've said before (oh yeah, I'm a repeat "Anonymous," btw), I have NO muse. Uy, I feel so useless to the...cause? – no, that’s too extreme...little group of people who still care about this...ship (::swallowing my pride just to use that word::) and want it to go on. I mean, I’m like the person who just sits there in a sinking boat whining, "oh, no, we're going down," but I don’t pick up a bucket to start bailing us out. Yeah. That's me. Museless, bucketless me.

Wait…what in the hell am I talking about, and why am I suddenly envisioning scenes from Titanic?

What I was GOING to say was: yeah, you're right – they left little more than odd minutes in between scenes to allow for ANY original fiction; and yeah, there does seem to be an outright lack thereof lately; and I would try to improve that if I could, but I can't. (Nor, however, can I stay on this damn wagon.)

AND... Soon I'm going to have one of every last frame of the making out scenes from 8x17. Totally gonna happen. ::fiendish giggle ~ yeah, I've all but given up on "the wagon" for tonight:: Hey. Not the worst thing in the world one could do. Now, let's just cross our fingers and hope like crazy that all those deleted scenes (you know the ones) wind up in the DVDs when they're finally released in December! I mean, Merry Christmas to me. I'm just saying. ;)

Ah, the infamous deleted scenes of which Annie always speaks. hahahaha. I really really want that for my Christmas present. Oh yes I do. But even then I won't be able to icon them because I don't have any software that gets through the protection on DVDs. I can only cap now because I have the downloads on my computer. Woe!

As for fic, I have a million ideas and no time, which can be kinda frustrating. But I'm hoping to get some out there at some point, probably at a time when I'll be the last person who even remembers this ship ever existed. But that's okay! I can live with that;) But don't feel bad about not being able to contribute. It's interesting. Even a lot of total non-shippers found this ending to be highly unsatisfying due to many factors. It just sucked, basically. Meh!
