She's so hilarious and awesome. And I'd watch the damn 24 movie if she were in it, which she won't be. Still, it's amusing to hear people ask Mary Lynn about Kiefer's constant insistence that it will start filming anytime and hear her say, "Well uh, nobody's called me!" Bwah. /fangirl freakout

Well, I too was underwhelmed by pretty much everything about Hawaii 5-0 except Annie and the one dark-haired dude's very nice muscles. I can't say I really noticed anything about how she looked though. She had nice jeans. She was playing a suburban aunt, so to have her all fancy would have struck me as odd.

Brag much?

LOL, can't say that I brag about writing. Generally I'm incapable of reading my own stuff without instant cringe. But I guess it must be cool to be able to make yourself cry, right? It's like you don't even need other people to write you fic -- you can just do it yourself!

Yeah, I think it's a pretty low-budget show. Being addicted to stuff like XF, 24, and BSG has certainly gotten me used to a certain level of quality. Justified looks gorgeous though. I'm so interested to see what you think of it when you watch!

Like the #$%#$*%#&%$@#&$@ fantastic ep of Fringe I just watched. Yep, I like a certain amount of technical value with my narrative. I'm snobby that way.

And for the record, I cringe at some of my fanfic too.

You'd think they'd show the ep they were supposed to show the night of the game before the break, but noooooo.....

Man, it's no wonder people get frustrated and drift away. With a show that gives you that many cliffhangers, you would think they'd put the new eps closer together, even if it meant a later premiere date. IDK.

On the good side...they probably planned to have an epic cliffhanger for the pre-hiatus finale, so instead we'll only have to wait a week after Ep 8 to see how it pans out.

New low for the ratings despite being an excellent and heartbreaking episode. This is prob. last season...oh well, there's always fic if I can ever figure out the sort of big, epic AU I want to write.

I've only seen a few eps, but I know that a ton of people whose opinions I respect think it's an amazing show. I wish that the bulk of the populace were less into being spoon-fed terrifying reality shows and painfully predictable procedurals (wow, that alliteration was accidental).

Alas. If it is the last season, I'll just cross my fingers that the conclusion is better than what we got for 24!

Accidental alliteration always amazes avid admirers.

I hope it's better than the 24 finale. Olivia does get shot and killed in the futureverse though. At least it wasn't immediately after having sex with Peter. Actually, the depiction of the S3 finale future verse is almost as bad as 24 S8 finale - Walter in prison again, Olivia dies, Peter is left alone at the end, universe is still falling apart. At least it's only a depiction of a possible outcome.

Technically if it was like 24, though, Peter would be the one killed off since Olivia's the main character. Then she'd be exiled to another universe, or something.
